FAQs
Are there any specific aftercare instructions for maintaining Ombré Brows?
Aftercare instructions typically include avoiding excessive amounts of water, sunlight, and harsh skincare products on the treated area for a few days, as well as applying a healing ointment given after the service.
What should I consider before getting Ombré Brows done?
It’s important to research and choose a reputable and experienced permanent makeup artist, discuss your expectations and desired outcome, understand the risks and benefits of the procedure.
Is there any downtime? Do I need to call off work?
There is no downtime associated with the procedure so clients do not have to call off work. You may experience redness and swelling which, on average, should only last a couple of hours at most.
How are Ombré Brows different from other eyebrow tattooing techniques?
Unlike traditional eyebrow tattooing, ombré brows use a special shading technique to achieve a soft and natural-looking result that mimics the appearance of softly filled-in eyebrows.
How long do Ombré Powder Brows last?
Typically lasts between 1 to 3 years, depending on factors such as skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Touch-ups are recommended every 1 to 2 years to maintain the color and shape of the brows.
How long does it take to get it done?
The procedure usually takes around 1 to 2.5 hours to complete, including consultation, design, numbing, and the actual treatment process.

What can’t I do after the procedure?
You must keep the treatment area dry and clean for at least 7 days. This includes no sweating, swimming, or sauna for 7 days. You should avoid excessive exposure to the sun, such as tanning or sunbathing during the healing process. Do not pick, pull, rub, or itch the area during the scabbing process or this could result in loss of color, poor retention, and possibly scarring.
What is the entire process like?
Every new set of brows requires two sessions: the initial appointment and the first touch up. The first touch up is recommended to be 6-12 weeks after the initial appointment. This is highly recommended in order to achieve the desired results (shape and color). After the first touch up, an annual touch up is also highly recommended. Annual touchups freshen up the color, define/secure the shape, and (optional) darker the brows.

Nails
How long do Gel-X nails last?
Typically 2-3 weeks, depending on your nail care routine and lifestyle. They’re easy to remove without damaging your natural nails, making them ideal for those seeking a gentler option. You may be able to get 1-2 fills out of your initial Gel-X set, but removal/reapplication is usually needed for each visit.
Which is better: Acrylic or Builder Gel?
It depends on your needs. Acrylic nails are strong and long-lasting, making them great for long extensions. Builder Gel is ideal if you want a more flexible, natural look while still adding strength to your nails.
How do I maintain my nail enhancements?
Keep your nails moisturized with cuticle oil, avoid using your nails as tools, and wear gloves when cleaning or using harsh chemicals. Regular fill-ins every 2-3 weeks are recommended to keep your nails looking their best.
What types of nail enhancements do you offer?
I specialize in Gel-X, Acrylic, and Builder Gel enhancements. I currently do not offer dip powder or pedicure services.
What is the difference between Gel-X and Acrylic?
Gel-X is a soft gel nail extension that covers the entire nail, providing a lightweight, natural feel. Acrylic, on the other hand, is a mix of liquid and powder that creates a strong and durable nail extension. Gel-X is great for those wanting flexibility, while Acrylic is best for strength and longevity.
What is Builder Gel, and how is it different from other gels?
Builder Gel is a thicker gel that’s perfect for strengthening your natural nails or adding structure to extensions. Unlike regular soft gels, Builder Gel provides more durability and can be used for short or medium-length extensions.
Do nail enhancements damage my natural nails?
When applied and removed properly, Gel-X, Acrylic, and Builder Gel shouldn’t cause damage. It’s important to avoid peeling or picking at your enhancements to prevent harm to your natural nails.
Can I get nail art with any of these enhancements?
Yes! Nail art can be applied to Gel-X, Acrylic, and Builder Gel nails. Feel free to discuss your desired design during your appointment, and I’ll bring your vision to life.
