PREPPING FOR YOUR OMBRÉ BROW APPOINTMENT
Follow these steps before your appointment to get the best results:
1. Skip Alcohol and Caffeine: For 48 hours before your session, avoid alcohol and caffeine. These can make your skin more sensitive during the procedure.
2. Talk to Your Doctor About Medications: If you're on blood-thinners, consult your doctor about whether you should pause them before the appointment.
3. Avoid Sun Exposure: Stay out of the sun and skip tanning beds for at least a week prior—sunburnt or tanned skin can mess with pigment absorption and healing.
4. No Skincare Products: On the day of your appointment, don’t apply any creams, lotions, or makeup to your brow area—these can interfere with the process.
5. Hold Off on Exfoliation: For at least a week before your appointment, avoid exfoliants or chemical peels on your brows, as these can make your skin more sensitive. This includes AHA, BHA, Retinol.
6. Limit Caffeine on the Day: Cut back on caffeine the day of your session to minimize any discomfort/excessive bleeding during the procedure.
7. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water leading up to your appointment—hydrated skin heals better and holds onto the pigment longer.
